# Make your first ad

## How do I make my first ad in eonik?

### Install eonik on Mac

Open the download, drag eonik into Applications, then launch it. Free, no card. macOS 15+, Apple silicon.

### Start a project

On Home, create a project. Generate an ad if you only have an idea, or clone a reference if you already like an ad. You are not starting from an empty timeline.

### Bring your footage

Point the library at the folders on your Mac. Search them like email. AI fills what you are actually missing instead of making the whole thing.

### Watch the cut

Play it. Check the opening, the logo, the claim. eonik can list what it caught, with timestamps. It will not tell you how the ad will perform.

### Approve, then upload yourself

What you approve is what ships. Export the sizes you actually run. You upload in Ads Manager. eonik never writes to the ad account.

## Home is two doors

The first screen is not a blank timeline. One door is generate an ad, start from an idea. The other is clone a reference, start from an ad you like. Pick the one you actually have.

If you already shot the product, skip the idea door. If you saved an ad from the feed, use that. Either way you are pointing at something real.

## Footage stays on your Mac

Connect local folders once. Then find the clip the way you find a file in Mail, not by scrolling a Drive dump. Nothing has to leave the machine for the library to work.

Fonts, colours, and the logo belong on the frame from here, not as a PDF you remember at export. If the kit is empty, lock it before you make the second ad.

## Check it before anyone else sees it

eonik watches the finished cut and tells you what it caught. Logo never shows up. Hook takes four seconds. A claim that does not match your guidelines. Each one with a timestamp so you can jump there and disagree.

It will not tell you how it will perform. Nobody can. That is the point of the check: the file, not a forecast.

## Upload is still yours

Export the ratios you actually buy. Reels, feed, square, wide can come from the same cut. Then you put the file in Ads Manager. eonik never spends and never predicts a winner.
