The Breaking Point
We did not build eonik because we loved video editing software. We built this company because we were exhausted. We were growth engineers and founders running millions in monthly ad spend, managing the terrifying volatility of the Meta and TikTok auction systems.
We would find a winning video, scale it, celebrate the low CAC, and then, invariably, within 14 days, the algorithm would crush it. The fatigue penalty is relentless. We realized that winning in modern user acquisition wasn't about having the best product; it was about whoever could feed the algorithm the highest volume of structural variance before the decay killed them.
The Systems Failure
Our industry's response to this algorithmic crisis was pathetic. We were told to ’’just make more ads.’’ We built massive, bloated creative teams. We used Jira to manage freelance editors. We waited three weeks for slight variations of a hook, only to find the trend was already dead.
We realized that manual human video editing is a 0-to-1 process. It is artisanal. But performance marketing is a 1-to-N mathematical scaling problem. You cannot fight a machine-learning algorithm with human infantry. You must fight it with infrastructure.
