eonik or Premiere Pro?
Premiere Pro is adobe’s professional video editor for desktop and mobile, with AI tools for finding clips, extending them and cutting by text. eonik makes the ads a brand needs at volume: new ones, remakes, every size and every change, checked against the brand and approved by your team. Below: what each does well, when to choose which, and when to use both.
Different jobs.
What Premiere Pro does well
- Cuts any video, at any length, with full control of every frame
- Text-based editing: footage is transcribed so a rough cut can be made from the words
- AI tools for the editor: Generative Extend, Media Intelligence search and Object Mask
What eonik does
- Makes new ads that show your real product
- Remakes an ad that already works
- Lays one master out in every size, and carries one change to every page
- Checks every page against your brand; your team approves in a browser
Use both when
- Your editor cuts the film in Premiere Pro. eonik opens the Premiere timeline (exported as XML), then makes the brand’s set from it: every size laid out again, this week’s price on every page, checked against the brand and approved in a browser.

Which to choose.
Choose Premiere Pro
You are editing a film: a long cut, a story told across many shots, colour and sound finished frame by frame.
Choose eonik
A brand needs the same ad in many sizes every week, with one change carried to every page, checked against its rules and approved before it ships.
Where an editor’s hours go once the cut is done
Premiere Pro is where a film gets its shape. An ad campaign then asks for that film many times over: the 4:5 feed cut, the 9:16 Story with the captions inside the safe bands, the 15-second version, the one with next week’s price.
eonik starts from the cut. It opens the Premiere timeline, lays each size out again around the same logo, headline, price and legal line, carries one change to every page, and sends the whole set for approval in a browser.

What Premiere Pro does better
Editing itself: long films, complex timelines, colour, sound and effects, with an editor’s hand on every frame. eonik makes ads and their versions, and only that.

Questions.
Can I bring a Premiere Pro edit into eonik?
Yes. Export the timeline from Premiere Pro as Final Cut Pro XML (File, Export) and open it in eonik, which keeps the cut, its clips and their order, and lays it out for each size your media plan buys. Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut edits open the same way, so the editor keeps cutting where they like to cut.
Should I use Premiere Pro or eonik for ads?
Premiere Pro for cutting the film, eonik for making the brand’s set from it: every size, one change on every page, the brand check and approval. Most teams that edit in Premiere keep it, and stop rebuilding each size there.
What does eonik cost next to Premiere Pro?
Premiere Pro starts at US$22.99 a month on an annual plan for the first year for new subscribers (Adobe’s US price). eonik is free on your Mac: making and editing ads, every size, one change on every page, the brand check and approval in a browser. You pay only when eonik makes new pictures and video for you, at a price shown before it makes them.
